Meet Debra Hendrix, CPA, CFO, and

SUMMARY
Debra has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1992. She has over
27 years of corporate and financial experience. She has worked as a
CFO, banker, auditor, general manager and public accountant.
Corporate Experience
Debra has spent years working in the corporate world and was responsible
for the financial turn-around of a multi-million dollar corporation
resulting in a change from near-bankruptcy to a profitable sale over
a multiple-year period.
Here are some of her duties during this turn-around effort:
- Managed all accounting and operations
- Implemented procedures and controls, and managed activities in accounts receivable,
accounts payable, inventory purchasing, shipping, receiving and warehousing.
- Successfully negotiated and obtained bank loans, property and group insurance plans, fixed asset purchases and vendor terms.
- Prepared for various audits or reviews from banks, state sales tax agencies, state payroll tax agencies, the Internal Revenue Service, and the workman's compensation
carrier.
- Worked closely with corporate
attorneys on buy/sell agreements, customer bankruptcy cases and other contact
development.
Additionally, she has set up and maintained procedures for:
- General ledger systems
- Credit policies
- Inventory replenishment controls for multiple distribution locations
- Inventory cycle counts for multiple distribution locations
- Sales tax system for multiple state sales taxes
- Consigned inventory systems with multiple vendors
- A system for IFTA fuel tax reporting
Debra has also prepared annual registrations and renewals, and ensured
compliance for:
- State corporate registrations
- Business licenses in multiple locations
- Payroll taxes
- Worker's Compensation
- Sales taxes
- Business personal property taxes and freeport exemption on inventory
